泉生济南，水载泉城，泉水也汇成了大明湖。“四面荷花三面柳，一城山色半城湖”，是济南独特城市风貌的写照。济南水域众多，尤以以大明湖、白云湖、济西湿地、华山湖等著称。
Jinan is blessed with and defined by spring waters. The waters and springs converge to form the picturesque Daming Lake. The lines “On four sides lotus blooms, on three sides willows; A city of mountain scenery, half a city of lake.” is a portrayal of the unique landscape of Jinan. Jinan covers great areas of water, including the waters of Daming Lake, White Cloud Lake, West Jinan Wetland, and the Mount Hua Lake.
大明湖，位于济南市中心，由众多泉水汇流而成，湖面58公顷，公园面积103.4公顷，有历下亭、铁公祠、北极庙、汇波楼等著名景点。
The Daming Lake, located in the city center of Jinan, is fed by the artesian karst springs of the area and has a surface area of over 58 hectares. The park occupies an area of 103.4 hectares with many famed attractions such as Lixia Pavilion, Ancestral Hall of Lord Tie, Beiji Temple, and Huibo Building.
白云湖，位于济南市章丘区西北，环境优美，湖光潋滟，荷红柳绿，是天然的水上乐园。
The White Cloud Lake, located in the northwest of Zhangqiu District of Jinan, boasts a gorgeous scene with its clear water glittering under the sun, sweeping willows standing along the shores, and colorful lotus flowers sending off fragrance. It is a natural water park with great popularity.
济西湿地，位于济南市区西部，总面积35平方公里，是国家级湿地公园。
West Jinan Wetland lies in the west of the provincial capital city. Occupying a total area of 35 square kilometers, it is a state-level wetland park.
